Our Church Ministries exists in order to assist in the promotion and fulfillment of the great commission which is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to provide organized venues of service to our church leaders, members and community. Through these structured environments,….We also assist our members in becoming stronger Christians and servants for Christ as they also discover and begin to use the special gifts that God has blessed them with, for the edification of the body of Christ.

Brotherhood  - Men’s Ministry -  Our goal is to be  mentors for our young men and to  provide knowledge of Godly principles and to be examples of those Godly principles which will enable  them to be strong Christian men  and leaders in church, at  home and in the  community.

The Brotherhood is constantly reorganizing, restructuring and brainstorming for innovative ideas that fit the needs of the young men or our community, the elderly, youth, general church membership and the general community.  All men are encouraged to attend, to see, and to become, apart of the great things that are happening within this ministry. Our prayer is that this ministry will be all that the Lord would have it to be.

 Brotherhood meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday at 7 p.m

Matrons – Women's Ministry -   Matrons, honestly believes in “serving Christ by serving others.”  The Matrons ministry exist for the purpose of reaching, teaching and nurturing the young women of our church and community for spiritual growth.  The Matrons Ministry is blessed to serve others through activities such as health clinics, visiting church members at home, in nursing homes and in hospitals. The Matrons also distributing favors on holidays such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day and also prepares baskets and gifts for needy families and members.

 Matrons meetings are held every 1st Saturday at 10 a.m.

Women’s Mission  A group of older women who are committed to an intensified relationship with Christ through prayer and the study of the scriptures.  We pray to be spiritually mature women, secure in our gifts and bold in our words, so that we can reach out in love to impact our church and community for Christ.  Our mission is to seek and reach women for Christ, helping them to develop a strong faith through his Word.

 Women’s Mission meetings are held ever 1^st and 3^rd Monday at 1p.m.

Youth Ministry -   The Youth Ministry of the New Pilgrim Rest has issue a "Reclaiming Our Youth for 2007" campaign in the hope that we are able to grasp our youth and teach them biblical truths as they progress into adulthood. Youth are divided into group according to the following divisions:

G.R.A.C.E.-ages 0-2     (God Receiving All Children Equally)
M.E.R.C.Y.-ages 3-5     (Meeting Every Requirement Children Yield)
P.E.A.C.E.-ages 6-8      (Providing Encouragement Among Children's Efforts)
F.A.I.T.H.-ages 9-12       (Faithful Adolescents Imparting Truth & Honor)
T.R.U.T.H. -ages 13-19   (Teens Reaching Unity Through Him)

Our aim is to teach bible truths that will impact there lives. We have different sessions that include areas such as bible study,  arts and crafts, recreation, drama, seminars, music and lots of other activities all based on biblical applications. We are anticipating starting our weekly bible study in the near future.

 Youth meetings are held every 3^rd Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Music Ministry -   The goal of the Music Ministry is to enhance our church services and fellowship by lifting the name of Jesus. Our purpose is to worship, to praise, to give thanks, to give testimony and to minister through the gift of song and music.

 Choir Rehersal is held every Thursday at 7 p.m.

Ushers Ministry -   We have been one of the most consistent and constant ministries in the

history of our church. We have been the doorkeepers for the Lord and welcome the chance to serve and greet the people who attend our church. We are the first face that most people see when they attend our church. We are always recruiting good people who love to deal with people and to make sure that you are welcome when you attend New Pilgrim Rest. Our goal is to continually improve and enhance the church through our ministry.

 Usher Board Meetings are held every 3^rd Monday at 6 p.m.
