is currently the pastor of New Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Inc.
In May of 1978, Reverend Norah Banks,
Jr., became pastor of the New Pilgrim B.C. of Arcadia Louisiana,
where has continued to serve for the past 30 years.

Rev. Adrian Nelson is the Assistant Pastor
of the New Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Inc., in Arcadia LA. He has
served in the choir, worked with the street ministry, and served as president
of the pastors aid committee.
Adrian Nelson accepted Jesus Christ as his
personal Savior at an early age. He received and accepted his call to
the gospel ministry at the age of 21, and was ordained at the age of 24 under
the leadership of Rev. Norah Banks, Jr. He is an anointed preacher, teacher,
and leader.
Rev. Adrian Nelson spent most of his teen years
singing and praising the Lord through song. He was one of the six organizers
of an area gospel quartet called the United Voices, which was a
group of young people who loved to sing and praise the Lord. They spent a lot
of time traveling to area churches, some times without pay, but it was for
the glory of God. Minister Nelson has sung in many organizations and was
dedicated to the music ministry until he received his calling.
